Douglas County was fortunate in we have had one rescue group come and taking many of the cats as well as a couple taking one or 2, but what has happened is they received 14 on Sat and next week they are to receive 18 cats due to an eviction which puts many cats still at risk as they will have to make room for them. There are many gorgeous healthy cats and kittens which just came in. No pics yet of kittens, but of some of the new cats are posted, but more to be posted. Please if you can even squeeze in a couple it will save some lives. Their hours are 10 to 5 Tues thru Sat and 2 to 5 on Sunday and close to public on Monday, but rescue can make arrangements to come. The make their EU list for Tuesday late on Mondays so no way to know who is in danger.
