This will be a great change for those of you sick of our emails asking you to please help us foster or adopt a shelter pet!

So many people want to help shelter dogs and cats and prevent them from being euthanized. As so many of us already are at capacity with animals, and some of us have spouses that are not so understanding :)... there are ways we can help without adopting, rescuing, or fostering!

Call your local shelter, and tell them that you want to pay the adoption fee on a specific dog or cat. (Can I recommend doing so with an "urgent" animal or an animal that is not an easy adopt) This protects the animal from euthanasia, and when someone comes in who wants to adopt, this is extra incentive to take this animal home because they can be adopted at no cost!

If you want to help an animal for the holidays, or give them the best thanksgiving they could imagine, PLEASE consider spreading the word and helping a shelter animal become more "adoptable" by paying their adoption fee! This will cover the cost of their microchip, spay/neuter, and vaccinations, deworming, and a flea tablet!

SPREAD THE WORD! And please, consider doing this as a christmas present "in someone's honor". This could be the greatest give a shelter dog or cat ever receives!
