Canton OH:hearing-impaired male red Chow Chow formerly impounded at Stark Co.

CROSSPOST OK AND WELCOME!!!
Please rescue/adopt or crosspost for rescue/adoption for Sam a 3 or 4 year old, HW negative, fully vetted, hearing-impaired, sweet, gentle 41 lb. Chow Chow. HE WAS PULLED FROM STARK COUNTY DOG POUND LAST WEEK and driven 50 miles for a Pennsylvania woman but she was a no-show. So Stark County Dog Pound Volunteer Lynn Serri completely vetted him with her own money and has him at her house until a rescue organization offers to take him into their program or a qualified adopter adopts him. He had been picked up as a stray by the pound. HE IS VERY SWEET AND LOVES OTHER DOGS AND KIDS and WALKS WELL ON A LEASH. His teeth were worn down and the guess is that it might be from being caged. Please contact Lynn at MOLLYANDCHANCE AT AOL.COM re finding this great guy a loving, forever home.
This is what Lynn wrote 3/29: Sam is approx 3-4 years old. Sam is a special needs dog as he is deaf. Sam weights 41lbs and has been completely vetted, is neutered, & had a dental done. Sam can't or shouldn't be caged because he will bark and chew on the cage. Sam gets along very well with my dogs . Sam doesn't play with toys but I am trying to get him to. I also am encouraging him to chew on bones. Sam wants to be with his "person". He saw a chicken at the vets and wanted to chase it, and I have no idea about cats as I do not have one. I prefer him to go to a home with a fenced back yard and he must be an indoor dog only. I prefer him to go to a home and not into a kennel or shelter. I have made alot of progress with him in just one week. Sam will sit and come on command (usually). I printed info on signing to a deaf dog...He deserves to be pampered. He was probably neglected before as he doesn't play, but he loves attention and belly rubs and walking. I am getting very attached to him, I will keep him until a FOREVER and REPUTABLE home is found. I will attach a few pictures . I can be reached at: mollyandchance@aol.com

Thanks for helping me.

3 very sweet mixed breeds in grave danger at the Del Norte County
pound. These three sweet boys have been at the pound for about 3
months now, waiting patiently for someone to adopt them. I am
extremely worried for their fate because the pound is just one kennel
away from being completely full, which is not good for
dogs that have been there for awhile.
The first one is in kennel #19: Approximately 1 yr old male. Very
sweet boy and just a little shy. Very unique looking dog with the
coloring of his coat and eyes.
The second one is in kennel #22: He is a lab/hound cross. Young
adult and real friendly. He is full grown and only about 55 lbs.
The third one is in kennel #15: He is a Hound cross very sweet
dispostion and very cute with his knee high speckled socks. Young
adult.
If anyone can possibly help save any of these sweet boys please
contact Tana at 2theresq@gmail.com or call the Del Norte dog pound at

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: 6 year old male Chow Chow. Weight 42 lbs.Couch potato? Yes, that's me. I like dozing on a nice soft cushion and I like my ears scratched too. I would like a yard to sniff around in and I'm interested in meeting other dogs . Once I get to know you, I'll be a loyal companion. They're pretty sure I'm housetrained too.

I have been at the shelter since Mar 07, 2008. I was lost but my owner has not found me so I am now available for rescue by a Washoe County Regional Animal Services Rescue Organization or for adoption through the Nevada Humane Society.

HELP! - Feral Cat w/Stick Stuck in Roof of Mouth - Need Help Trapping and DONATIONS for Vet Care ASAP

Ghost showed up in my backyard a week ago. He had a stick stuck in the roof of his mouth, and I have tried every trapping trick in the book to get him, but he is trap savvy. He somehow got the stick out, but I'm sure part of it is still in there because he is drooling profusely and not eating very much. I am in a panic, because I want very much to help this feral cat, but haven't the funds to get him medical care, nor can I get A HOLD of him.

I am asking for help in obtaining a drop trap (which I don't know how to use, so I'll need physical help with that), or help in trapping him from some expert trappers and for donations toward his medical care.

I recently posted for help for one of my own cats, because I am completely broke since the IRS recently garnished my wages. I hate to go begging again, but this poor cat does not deserve to live in pain. The pictures are not that good since they came from my phone camera, but it is the best I can do. He is very skittish and bolts if he even knows someone is looking at him.

I have a paypal account at: bonitaberger@aol.com (at aol.com).

Donations can be called in to the vet:

Dr. Sunada

11561 Oxnard Street

N. Hollywood, CA 91606

Phone: 818- 508-8530

Any help will be very much appreciated. It kills me every day to know he is in my backyard, and I can't help him.
