I have a pretty wide network of wolf/hybrid rescues and sanctuaries, and usually have good luck finding spots for these critters. But this time I am out of options.
I've been trying to find a rescue or sanctuary for a critter that has stolen the heart of the manager at the Greenwood, SC, shelter, and I have come up with nothing!
This is a very sweet, submissive, white Wolf-hybrid (percentage unknown), but appears to be Low Wolf content) female.
She has spent her short life in a little pen with two other hybrids; only since arriving at the shelter, has she learned to love playing with toys, and having people be nice to her. She is shy, but has a sweet personality. She is HW+, but otherwise healthy. Angie, the Greenwood shelter manager, really wants to find a spot for this girl, so she doesn't have to euth her. Any ideas??

All of these cuties are at the Chattooga County Animal Control in Summerville, GA. Most, if not all of these (except for a couple that are in foster) will be euthanized Tuesday. To make matters worse the shelter is closed from noon Saturday until Tuesday morning when they will be euthanized. If anyone can help - please call the shelter (706-857-0679) early Tuesday morning. The Director himself usually gets there before 8:00 and will usually answer the phone. Please pass this along to anyone you can think of . We need this to go everywhere this weekend. Thank you all!

Attached is the list of animals in need of rescue at the Spalding County animal shelter in Griffin , Georgia .
Thereʼs been very little rescue activity at the Spalding shelter in the past month. A wonderful out-of-state rescue group has taken in two huge vanloads of puppies and adults which is the only way weʼve been able to keep our head above water. That rescue is now totally slammed and weʼre begging other rescues to please, please help. Even if you can only take one, itʼs one life that wonʼt end in the gas chamber. If youʼre not in a position to rescue any of these sweeties, please forward this email to fellow animal lovers.
