Subject: LA (Jefferson Parish) Cat Trapping: 300 block Homestead (Metairie) and also Brooklyn Ave. (bet. Jefferson Hwy. & River Rd.)
Someone is known to be trapping on the 300-400 block of Homestead in Metairie and turning cats in to the shelter on the West Bank, NOT the East Bank shelter.
Cats also have been trapped on Brooklyn Ave. (between Jefferson Hwy. & River Road). Several spayed and neutered eartipped cats went missing from there a month ago soon after they were fixed.
Anyone missing cats please check for lost cats at Jefferson Parish shelters (East Bank and West Bank) and at LA/SPCA, as well as all animal shelters in the area.
