ROCKY SENIOR WAS JUST RESCUED FROM BALDWIN BY CRITTERS-IN-NEED pet rescue organization. HE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME! Please volunteer to be a foster parent if you can.
Here is the Volunteer's description and VIDEO for Rocky when he was Impound #A3982427 at the shelter: Volunteering at the shelter produces many emotions amongst us, and in Rocky's case disgust and anger are extremely prevalent.
This super sweet male Shepherd mix is at least 12 years old and perhaps as old as 15, and was abandoned at the Baldwin Park Shelter on June 3rd by his previous family for the crime of being too old. Gentle and still possessing quite a bit of energy this old fellow loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Easy to handle this wonderful boy deserves to live his final years in dignity - not in a small cage devoid of human contact...To see a video of Rocky please click here:

Hi,
Someone looked at Rocky and thought he had cattle dog in him too. No chow in him. I haven't taken new photos of him yet coz I wanted to get him groomed. But I will try to get some new ones today. Getting him groomed on Tuesday.
We really need a foster home for him. That's the main thing. Right now, he's being kenneled at about $10/day. My vet thought that the tumor was likely benign.
Did you receive the other dogs that I'm so concerned about .... we'd take Princess, Nanook and Jessie if we could get fosters for them. All lovely dogs. And we just love the female Rocky (young dog). She needs to get out. She's gorgeous!
Thanks!
Debbie Eckert
