update---GOOD NEWS---George was adopted July 19th. That was a very close call. Yay!

George has been impounded since May, and red-listed (i.e., subject to being killed at any moment) since July 14th. Nobody seems to come save George. What an incredibly sad waste. He is handsome, lovable and adores both people and other dogs.
