Hi Everyone-I got a call, and the following email from a woman in West LA who found this cute mixed breed dog a few days ago. The dog is a super sweet, well-mannered, friendly dog who loves people and other dogs. She is currently at West Valley and has not been claimed by her owner. Her A number is A1047056. The photo of her below does not do her justice, she appears to be a pei mix or chow mix and is gorgeous in person, they are going to try to get a better photo of her to post.
The girl who found her would have kept her but is in an apartment where pets are not allowed. She could hardly bear to take her to the shelter but could not risk losing her home either, so she is trying to help her get rescued. She had such wonderful things to say about this dog, so she must have made quite an impression on her. :-)
If anyone can rescue her, or knows of anyone missing a dog fitting this description, contact info for the "finder" (Kriste) and shelter are on the original email.

A neighbor found a Shar Pei mix around our neighborhood last weekend. The pup (she) was sweet, loving and interacted well with everyone who approached her.
