I just got a call from Denise at the Camarillo Shelter and she is reaching out to us in the rescue community to help open space at the shelter for incoming animals displaced because of the local fire here in Ventura County. They are looking for rescues to pull Neutered/Spayed dogs asap to relieve kennels immediately. I have not met these dogs just sending out a plea for assistance for the shelter. The rescue rates for altered dogs is very low usually around $10.00. So please go save some of these dogs if you can!!!
Attached is a listing of the neutered/spayed dogs available for rescue at the shelter now. Please help if you can, post and cross-post. This is an URGENT NEED!! Emergency situation in Ventura County!!
