Subject: Lovely Luna - Cat Has Been At The Shelter Since May 2 - Needs OUT ASAP!!
Luna (A1027942) arrived at the NorthEast Shelter on May 2 with her kittens.
She was the best of mothers, taking great care of her kittens and making sure they grew healthy and strong. At eight weeks, they were taken away from her and adopted out, and she was left behind. Eventually she was transferred to the West Valley Shelter, only to discover that it was the middle of "kitten season" and while everyone wanted kittens, no one wanted a 3 year old Mom cat.
Luna never lost heart. It was if she knew that if she tried her best, and was friendly and flirted with everyone, she would get noticed. I noticed her last week.
Luna is a beautiful black medium hair, petite ballet dancer.
She is lean and graceful and adorable with her little tufts of hair sticking out in all directions. She has the most adorable heart shaped face, large ears and a shiny coat. Her eyes follow you and implore you to give her love. Her photo does not do her justice.
She loves to do a big stretch and then roll over on her side for a belly rub. She rubs the sides of her cage to flirt with you, hoping to get pets and rubs. She loves people and she loves to play "paddy-cake" through the cage bars with the cat next to her (who was adopted today because she was an orange tabby.) Luna is great with children and will be a wonderful addition to a family. She is a lounger and will cuddle and lay in your lap.
She has been at the shelter for over 4 months and Halloween is coming soon. We need to get her out of the shelter ASAP, well before the Halloween deadline at the shelters. She has been so patient, waiting for her time - I hope it is now.
