FYI. My friend's rescue center, Villalobos (Ca.) Rescue Center, finally got an air date on Animal Planet for a new reality show. Tia's got over 200 dogs in her rescue, most adoptable but some are life residents for many reasons, but this show has the potential to not only increase adoptions for her and those dogs, but increase compassion, awareness, and yes, adoptions in all areas. It might also help counteract the terrible message still being sent by HSUS's support of Michael Vick as she hires parolees to help care and maintain the facility. So these are non dog-fighting guys who made mistakes but who treat the dogs with compassion.
Ok, off my soap box ... it airs tonight at 10 pm. Set those Tivo's....
