Featuring Cat Adoptions at Petco Veterans 11/7 and 11/8
Please come meet the fabulous felines for adoption this Saturday, November 7th, 12 pm – 8 pm and Sunday, November 8th, 1 pm – 6 pm at Petco Veterans, 3520 Veterans Memorial Boulevard , Metairie , LA 70002 .
Volunteers will be showing an adorable group of cats rescued from perilous situations and local shelters at this first ever event hosted by River Region Animal Rescue, a group of cat rescuers based in Kenner .
PLEASE JOIN THE FUN AND HELP US GET MORE ANIMALS ADOPTED! Volunteers are needed for this adoption event and ongoing events. Help us show the cats, distribute flyers, help transport, assist with paperwork, help via Internet, and promote events.
FOSTER HOMES GREATLY NEEDED FOR CATS TO STAY IN BETWEEN ADOPTION EVENTS SHORT TERM.

Some of the cats we are expecting to bring:
CHIKO AND TOM TOM – a young pair of tabbies who are best buddies, Chiko is a very sweet gray tabby who always rubs for more petting and Tom Tom is a brown tabby that likes to be held upside down and petted, both a little shy and bonded so should be adopted together to their new home
EINSTEIN – a gray and white shorthair personality plus who was a cross-eyed kitten but not any more and is now as handsome as can be
ESCHER – an exotic shorthair Abyssinian mix young male, is social director to cats at his foster’s household and he introduces himself to new arrivals to bring them into the fold
HANNAH – a gray female with white bib and feet, and perfect markings, who loves petting and play but is just a little shy
LEO – an orange medium-hair good looking fellow who is intermittently very playful, then laid back, quite entertaining
NICOLE – a gentle and quiet, sweet tricolor gray tabby/Tortoiseshell who loves to be pet
ROMEO – a black and white tuxedo boy with perfect markings and sweet personality
SWEET SALLY – a pretty Tortoiseshell who especially likes teenagers
SHORTY BOY – was rescued by a kind-hearted painter from a notorious neighborhood, he is a sweet boy, friendly with people and other cats, poor fellow lost part of his tail before he was rescued

VALENTINE – a sweet girl, tabby and white, with a little acrophobia
WHISKERS – a darling black and white 10-year-old declawed female with a shiny tuxedo coat and in great health.
