Los Angeles: At Los Angeles Animal Services Effective February 1st, there is NO MORE Red Alert or Green Alert

Effective February 1st, there is NO MORE Red Alert or Green Alert, there is only New Hope Rescue Alert, which will primarily for Medical, Age, Lactation/Neonate, and Behavioral.
Aside from that the shelter have control over their population.  IP's are good for 3 days, but will be denied by a ACT Supervisor if the privilege is being abused.  This means simply that if there is a dog you are interested in it, the best thing is to treat it as if it were on the Red List and get it out ASAP.
