| These girls were seized by AC along with four other dogs - three have already gone to rescue (sadly the puppy didn't make it) and these girls are STILL WAITING! The dogs were all chained out with obviously no food - surprisingly, the woman was charged and received 20 days jail time - would have been more but she has small children - still a miracle for this area! The girls have been nursed back to health (pics along the way are attached) but both are heartworm positive and they desperately need rescues! They have been at the shelter since August, and while we love them, we REALLY need the space to keep other dogs from being PTS. The girls are very sweet although still a bit shy. They have definitely come a long way - at first they cowered in the corner of their pen and now they come to the gate with wagging tails. FULL SPONSORSHIP IS OFFERED FOR BOTH GIRLS - we just need rescue(s) to take them! Transport can be arranged to a reputable rescue - please contact me ASAP if you can help.
