Here is the info on the surrendered pit bull.  We are calling him Blackie.  He has been so easy to work with, tolerates handling, etc.  We are going to hold him for a few more days but if we cannot get a rescue or individual to commit to taking him we will have to euthanize him which would just be a shame.  Dr Stanley has agreed to repair the leg, neuter etc.  I am sending a little paragraph about him along with photos of him and his radiographs.  He came from a family with at least 4 kids and does very well with children. The family was not interested in pursuing surgery either with us or specialist.

Blackie is a 5 month old mastiff/pit mix.  He was surrendered to Stafford Oaks following an injury to his right hind leg following a fall from an upper balcony.  He is very sweet and loving and good with other dogs.  He is having his leg repaired by Stafford Oaks Veterinary Hospital and will be neutered and ready for adoption soon.

Attached are pictures of Blackie and his radiographs.
