Thank you everyone that helped with cross posting and inquiring about Stryker. This gorgeous young man has been rescued by Diane with APAWS. If you'd like to send a donation to help APAWS with Stryker's vetting or any animal under their care, you may do so by going to http://www.apawspets.org/. Even though Stryker is safe, there are still animals in need of rescue and forever homes at Terrebonne Parish AC. Even though this is a high kill shelter, they are very rescue friendly, honest about their animals and super clean. Valerie(shelter manager)cares a great deal about the animals that are under her care,so if you haven't worked with this shelter before, please don't be offended if asked for references. Here's a link to the shelter http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/LA109.html
Thank you again,

I have never in my life seen a pup/dog as strikingly handsome as this little boy, because of this,we are calling him Stryker. I did ask if his black blaze was spray painted on him. You never know. This sweet tempered pit puppy was picked up as a stray in Houma,LA and now resides at Terrebonne Animal Control. Stryker is estimated to be about 3-4 months old. Due to Parish policies,Stryker can only be released to a reputable rescue. This is a high kill animal control. Because of the oil spill and people losing their jobs, many more pets are being surrendered. The shelter is very rescue friendly, super clean and the staff go above and beyond for the the animals in their care. They are a pleasure to work with. They are also great at picking out the best tempered animals with the sweetest personality. Please contact Valerie Robinson(cc'd on here)

Please remember,we need a commitment by Friday August 27th. Don't let Stryker and his one of kind looks be gone forever. If you can't rescue Stryker, please pass this along to your contacts. I appreciate any and all help.
