Subj: Yoshi-chow mix owner died Denton Animal Control

We have a wonderful Chow mix female who is about 8-9 years old. She was brought to the shelter when her owner died (about 2 weeks ago) and the family no longer wanted her. She came in with her two schnauzer siblings who were taken by schnauzer rescue immediately.  Poor Yoshi has been waiting for her new home for over 14 days.  She is a very calm, sweet, docile girl who gets along with EVERY dog at the shelter.  She enjoys just laying around outside and soaking in the sun.  She likes to be around people but is very independent and does not need much "special" attention.  She is happy just to be out of her kennel. We love her so much that we are making her our "diamond in the ruff" dog for this week getting her fully vetted so that she can be adopted for only $60.  We also have found another sponsor that will pay the other $60 of her adoption fee to a good home. All we want for Yoshi is to live out her senior years in comfort and with love.
Her pictures are attached and if you are interested in helping her, please let me know....
She is precious..
You can also see more of her at www.denton.petfinder.com

Thank you,
