He was rescued by passersby and their connections in August, but I don't see a name for this dog. It might be Colt because that is the label on a very large photo that has been crossposted. His story has been published by Larry Powell in his October 26th column; click HERE to view it. Contact details and further info is there.
Also, here is Regina's email:

Subject: puppy
Hi, my name is Regina. I work for a veterinary clinic and we have found a dog that we need to find a home for. I have had an ad on southeasttexas.com, but I have not had any luck placing him. He was found in some woods and had been shot in the face. His wounds have healed, so now we need to place him in a loving home. He looks like he is about 6 months old. He has been neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. If you can at all possible help us get his story circulated and find him a place to go, we would so appreciate it. Please call or e-mail me back if you are able to take him or help place him. 409-718-7465 or 409-962-1738.
