12/30/10: Tyler wrote 12/30 around 9AM: Sadly, little amber didn't make it through the night...I wasn't able to be there, nor was she humanely euthanized...she passed away in her sleep....RIP Little Amber...

Test results tested positive for parvo, the people said they would be back last night with the money for the exam etc and never returned. I COULD NOT say no and just let this little girl suffer..

I told the animal hospital we can't let her die because of stupidity and that I would take her in as a rescue...
The owners have no money and have relinquished her..

This little girl is sick but chances of survival are high..
Please help me save her and donate a little bit to help this little girl. She is on iv fluids, high temp, vomiting and catheter. Her expected hospital stay will be 7-10 days. Once she is better she will be UTD on shots, spayed and chipped all of which the donations will also go towards.

GIDGET is a young terrier/yorkie mix (?) mix - the mother of GIZMO - was found as a stray.  We don't know how she survived out there - she is very sweet but quite shy - her favorite place to hang out is buried in pillows on the bed or couch, or curled up in your arms.  She's starting to warm up now - and her tail starts to wag she sees us - and she's more of an explorer on her walks now.
She's a little lady - about 10 lbs - who is spayed and has all her shots.  She's a bit skinny right now and recently  had a litter of pups - and her coat is a bit thinned out from her malnutrition - But she's eating great and starting to put on some weight and soon will have a thick shiny coat again. She's a very good Mom to GIZMO - likes to keep her eye on him - but he's all grown up and ready to move out to a home of his own. GIDGET is a special lady who you can't help just pick and hug adn tell her everything will be okay.
