When I sent this plea, the calico was still on the website, but I just talked to the shelter, and she was euthanized this morning because she was very sick.

Let's please save the other boy!

Subject: South LA Shelter Overcrowded! Please help these cats!

These 2 beautiful cats narrowly escaped being euthanized at the shelter yesterday.  From what I hear, about 20 adoptable cats had to be put down to make room for the dozens of cats being turned in.  Please network these great cats and get them the hell out of there!

Contact is the South LA shelter 213-485-0117 or -0119.

Thanks,

Nelia

SUPER FRIENDLY, I WAS THERE WHEN HE WAS TURNED IN BY HIS OWNER WHO PRETENDED THE CAT WAS A STRAY WHO HAD BEEN LIVING UNDER HIS HOUSE FOR MONTHS.
The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old.

I have been at the shelter since May 18, 2011.
