The dog was originally lost in the Long Meadow Farms area. He has become stray again. I just discovered this page re Long Meadow Farms on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/group.It looks like it could be a great resource in regard to finding lost pets in "LMF." It looks like there are other dogs lost in the Long Meadow Farms area. During fireworks it will be very difficult for pets. I hope this little guy, and all losts, find homes. If rescuers and concerned citizens can keep their eyes open for this one, and check the pounds as well, the lost doggies sure need help.

Found in LMF, Richmond. No collar, no tags, no chip. Very sweet, unless caught off guard- he has barked/snapped at 2 people (one who went straight to his mouth to check his teeth), but never to me or my dog. Has not been around any children, but has been around 2 year old chocolate lab- they get along just fine. He is fixed. He has never been inside, but he sure wants to. Lets me put leash and collar on him with no problem, and jumped into the car/kennel with ease. I have been told he looks to be a mix of heeler, French bulldog, terrier. He probably weighs about 30-40 pounds, and is about the size of a beagle.,,I just couldn't call the pound to come get him.
