We found a stray cat and took him in since it was getting cold. We have been calling him Hungry :)
He is about 2-3 years old, 11 lbs, male, not yet neutered. He's had all necessary shots and had his blood tested; it came back positive for FIV :( So he will need a home where he will be the ONLY CAT and strictly INDOORS. He needs ear drops twice a day for the next week; he needs one more shot in 3-4 weeks. Other than that he is healthy and happy. As long as he is cared for and doesn't get sick, the vet said he should live a long normal life. Because he is FIV positive he needs a diet high in protein, so a wet food diet is preferred.
He is extremely sweet and calm. He's been picked up, given shots, had his ears cleaned and never tried to scratch of bite anyone. He loves having his belly rubbed. We have two cats and have been keeping them separate, so we need to find a home for him ASAP.
We are looking for a good caring person to take him into their home. Here is a photo. Please only respond if you are interested. All you need to take him is a cat carrier, I can give you his shot records, ear drops, and a can of wet food.
