Tarboro, NC, Last plea for Kobe

This is Kobe.  She's as sweet and gentle as a lamb.  We rescued her from a kill shelter in Tarboro, NC, thinking we would get her healthy, and then find her a permanent home.  Little did we know that she would be heart worm positive, advanced, and not a candidate for treatment.
The vet says she thinks she's approximately eight years old.  She has been spayed, and up to date on shots.  Our only options are to euthanize her, or to find a safe place for her to spend the rest of her life in quiet with rest.  She seems fine, she's eating well, she just gets out of breath easily, and hassles a lot.
We're hoping to find a safe place for her to finish out her life if it's possible, so I just thought I'd send out a plea and see if there's anyone anywhere who can take in a dog with this problem and care for her until her end.

Thanks, I'm not trying to make anyone feel guilty at all, just the last option for me and her foster, Teresa.
