Subject: Arthur is Adopted but needs a ride SLC to Denver = Kitty left outside after owner died. I'm trying to save him!Boy did Arthur have angels watching over him: Tara saw him at a garage sale (Rescue People have antenna for animals needing help); she went right to work to Rescue him. Emails found their way to Helen and she wanted to adopt him.! YAY - But he is in Salt Lake City and Helen, his new Mom is in Wheat Ridge, CO (Denver); he needs a ride that is befitting a prince - which means it would be nice if someone driving without barking dogs could fetch Arthur for his new family. He will need a ride around Thanksgiving. Please help get Arthur to his new Mom, Helen and family - They are very excited to get their new furkid!. Thank you. jannis

Hi All!First off, this picture is of the kitty at his temp. foster home (so freaking cute!!).
Okay, I went back to the Estate Sale (Salt Lake City) today and talked to some of the neighbors. Turns out the kitty's name is Arthur and he is at least 7-8. The neighbors said that he was inside/outside, but always wanted to come in everyone's house. When you see him you know that he belongs inside. He is simply gorgeous and very well behaved. His feet are HUGE, and I wonder if he might have an extra toe on each foot (I haven't been able to inspect yet). The neighbors have been feeding him since the owner died. One neighbor said that he has a lot of cute personality quirks and would hang out in the backyard with her Shih tzu. The temp. foster home where he is now has a small dog, and they're doing fine together. I want this kitty to go right to a home, not any sort of shelter. I think that he deserves the best since he's been outside a lot, and seems to just want to snuggle and be loved on. Please let me know if anyone hears of a great home. I will only consider a home where he is inside only. Thank you all so much for your help on this boy. If I were in a house and not an apt., I'd bring him to me immediately. Thanks!

This is Tara, who runs Save A Heeler. I dropped by an Estate Sale today in Salt Lake City and there was an extremely friendly kitty who was running out from the stoop, greeting all of the cars. I was told that he had been the owner's cat, and the elderly owner had died. Evidently there is no family that will take him. I confirmed with several neighbors that he had been the elderly person's cat. He is just gorgeous- fluffy orange, with green eyes and half of a tail (?). He is so sweet and "makes biscuits" with his feet when you're talking to him. I cannot bring him to my house because I'm past my limit with cats, am in an apt., and I have a hubby and three dogs. Please forward to anyone you know that can help. I found a temp. foster until Wed., but I have nowhere for him to go after that. People can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org (gmail.com) if they can help me to help him.
