New Video Update from Kricket...
Thank you to all that have donated to McWag Rescue Medical Fund but we still have a way to go to meet our goal. Sampson is due to go for his second, out of four, treatments for his class II Heartworms the first week of October. If you are able to donate any amount, it will be so appreciated and allow this beautiful young boy to look forward to a healthy and long life.

A very special supporter of rescue, Maria K. McCune has generously offered to make Jingle Bell Collars for anyone donating $25 or more to McWag Chow Rescue for Sampson's Heart Worm Treatment. This festive collars are wonderful way to add joy to your holidays as well as celebrate the lives of those your donations have helped save. Please send message or email McWag Rescue the address and neck size of the furry one who you would like to receive this special Thank You for any donation of $25.00 or more.

No donation is too small and will go directly toward the veterinary care of our Rescues. , Please continue to share this

9/11 POST:
Sampson arrived at rescue from NC and has begun Heartworm treatment

Kricket of McWag Rescue wrote 9/10/13 on her GoFundMe for Sampson:
Sampson is an extraordinarily beautiful boy with gorgeous eyes and a winning smile. He absolutely loves people and so wants a person to call his own. He is very smart and eager to bond and please.

However, Sampson arrived in rescue with Heartworms, and has begun treatment. He is expected to make a full recovery but the treatment will take about 4 months total. Rescue is making sure he gets whatever treatment he needs and he will not be available for adoption until treatment is complete. However, we do not want to delay his finding his forever home so are hoping to find potential adopter who will foster him during his treatment. During this time he will need to be on restricted activity, crated and leash walked. It would be ideal if he were the only animal in the house. Once recovered he will be an ideal companion, playful, attentive and always loving. Or PLEASE consider fostering Sampson during his treatment while we find the perfect home for him.

Please contact Kricket at McWag rescue if you have room in your heart and home for this very special young boy. He apparently has seen some rough times and we have made a heart promise to him that those days are over.

7/13/13 GOOD NEWS! McWag Rescue of Maryland is saving this cutie! Yay!

7/10/13 POST
He is still at the shelter! Rescue/adoption is needed ASAP for this boy named Sampson! The shelter is the contact.

7/1/13 POST
So far there is no comprehensive Bio for him. Just word on Facebook that he is nice and has been shared a bunch but nobody has picked him up for rescue or adoption. I emailed the county shelter to ask about arrival story, weight, age and so on. If he doesn't go to adoption events, he might benefit from some prodigious promos beyond just Facebook. And pronto.
