We are happy to report that "Heidi" was adopted today!

We still have "Murray" and "Jackson" who need forever homes, and are both really great pups!

"Murray" is a smart, adult APBT.  The more we spend time with him, the more positive things we find out about him.  He is very quiet and docile, smart (sits on command), and patient (soft mouth) when taking a treat. He loves to sit close to you and lean his head against your leg, and nudge your hand to pet him.  "Murray" weighs about 60 pounds and is a solid pup.  He absolutely loves routine and structure; would benefit from some formal training because he is intelligent and likes to work.  He seems to get along with other dogs, and has not demonstrated any type of food aggression at the shelter.  Bottom line, this boy was dumped in the county (wearing a collar) and no one is coming for him.  He absolutely deserves a stable and loving him to guide him.

"Jackson" is a young (about 2 yrs old) and lightweight (20 pounds) Beagle/JRT mix.  He was surrendered to the shelter due to the death of his owner.  Arrangements were not made, and he ended up with a family member and from what we hear, he's been tied up in the barn for some time.  In addition, the family's dog didn't like "Jackson", and he bears the marks from that dislike being demonstrated.  "Jackson" is extremely personable, and just wiggles from head to toe.  He also has beautiful Blue-tick markings.  "Jackson" would be a wonderful addition to any family.  He loves to give kisses, and waits calmly and quietly for treats.

Please help us by sharing this email with any and all you think may be able to help.  We need to move these precious pups out of the shelter ASAP.
