Cleveland, TN - Blind lonely Bloodhound needs rescue ASAP!! - Please pass on till rescued!

I found this poor dog listed for free on Craigslist.  See owner's plea below.

If you can help, contact the owner ASAP!  This dog is so lonely!!!

I have a 16 month old full-blooded blood hound named Amos who is BLIND, and in need of a good home.  We got him as a pup over a year ago, and I had planned to train him to be a truck dog and ride to work with me in my pickup (I am a carpenter).  But when I realized he was blind, I knew that wouldn't work.

We keep him in a 12x12 lot with a doghouse to shelter from the rain, but it is a sad and lonely life.

I have 4 kids who love animals, but he is so big he overpowers them, or knocks them down, so they are afraid of him, therefore he gets little socialization.

I have tried for over 6 months to find a good home for him because he deserves a better life, and I know that I do not know enough or have enough time to care for a dog with such special needs.  He has never tried to be aggressive, so I believe he would make a good family pet for someone with a heart for blind animals.

Please call or email me if you can help.

Thank you, and God bless.
