Dear Friends of Petraits,

Mary (Petraits attached) is a big, beautiful, playful and eight-year-old, 15-pound, colorful female calico cat looking for a loving guardian.

Mary enjoys rolling with her favorite catnip toys, jumping for feather toys and carrying little sparkle balls around the house. She also thoroughly enjoys a snooze on the most comfy chair she can find.

She adores rubbing against your leg and purrs very loudly when you pet her. While she'd probably be happiest as the only pet in your world, she can adjust to a home with other gentle-natured cats and dogs.

Mary is very healthy, spayed, litterbox-trained, up-to-date on vaccines, virus-tested and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Mary, please contact her foster dad Martin at or Joe at 773-220-4538. She'll also be attending an adoption event TODAY, Sunday May 4th along with other cats and dogs at the Petsmart at 1414 N. Kingsbury in Chicago, IL. Hours for the event are Noon to 3:00 pm.

Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. Mary is being fostered in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood.
