Maddie and Rascal still need a new home. The sooner the better. I'm officially moving July 7th.

Hi Kelly.  These kitties are in SE Garland, off of 1st St/Centerville Rd area.  Christy (my neighbor) only has until about the 28th of this month to find them new homes/rescues.  You can contact Christy directly through her email at cclbooher@gmail.com or call her at 214-662-4560.  I found out that both cats are declawed on the front paws only.  They are both fixed.  Both need their shots brought up-to-date.  They are both inside cats.  If you are interesting in meeting them you can contact Christy directly.  Thanks.

Hi Melba,
What city are these kitties in?  Also, what kind of time frame are you looking at? Thanks for your help.

Please help spread the word about these kitties. Apparently, this is an older lady who is losing her home and moving into a place that does NOT accept animals.  Perhaps all of us can network together and help her place her kitties together.
Thanks!

Maddie and Rascal are great cats. They have been together for eleven years and it would be ideal if they could be adopted together. Even though they are not technically brother and sister, they act as though they are. They have loving moments where Rascal will kiss (lick) the top of Maddie's head. They have also had some hissing matches when one of them thinks the other has been hogging the food bowl. Overall, they love one another and spend lots of time together. Maddie is a sweet, loving cat. She is a twelve year old domestic long hair, about 8-10 pounds. Maddie enjoys cuddling up with you. Her favorite spot to be scratched is the area just above her tail. One of Maddie's favorite "special" treats is hamburger meat from your hamburger. Maddie is very talkative. She loves to greet you when you come home with a hello meow. (Maddie will also let you know if she needs food.) Maddie is usually very shy around new people, but once she warms up to you, she will stick to you like glue. Rascal is an eleven years old domestic long hair, about 16 pounds. He may also have some Maine Coon in him, he has always been a big cat. He has the most beautiful gray fur. He loves to cuddle on his own terms. It is usually right when you first lay down for bed. Once he has his fill of love, he is usually off to one of his favorite spots to sleep. Rascal, has a sensitive stomach and does not tolerate change to his food. Also, with his long, thick coat he does not do well with heat. When he gets too hot, Rascal has the occasional hairball.  Please pass around.
