Grantville, GA
- Shepherd Mix Needs Rescue ASAP!

CROSS-POSTING!   A small, rural, 4 run shelter, just south of Atlanta.  Please help this Shepherd.

We named her Mandy.  She was found in a small sub division, dragging a chain behind her.  Her cloth collar was all twisted and full of dirt, and needless to say she was filthy.  She still has part of her winter coat, but it is falling out in chunks.  Just trying to get a brush through it wasn't easy, we tried to get some of the hair out before we gave her a bath.

She is very friendly, and is happy to see everybody.  She is also very smart, and she comes when you call her.  Our friend Jill came to the shelter to take a video of her, and when she saw Jill's pickup truck, she ran over to the fence so happy, jumping up and down, running back and forth; she probably thought it was her owner coming to pick her up.  Whoever owned her must have had a pickup truck, and it was so hard to watch her thinking she was going home.

She is very sweet, she weighs about 40 - 45 lbs, about 4 yrs old, and she is very outgoing, and has a happy disposition.  She doesn't seem very interested in the dogs at the shelter, or the cats that live outside the shelter fence.

If you can help her, please contact us!!  As of right now we have 3 dog runs full, and only one empty run.

Thanks again,

Ron and Linda Lefebvre
