This good Samaritan found this beautiful girl and now she needs our help finding her a furever home!   She looks like she could have some Vizsla or Weimaraner mixed in there… just a guess…

I am crossing my fingers for this dog!  Thank you for your help!

This stray dog was found in my neighborhood about 2 1/2 weeks ago.  She has a low key temperament and is learning to play.  She is about 35 lbs and stands at knee height.  She walks well on a leash and rides very well in a car.   She has had no accidents in the house and has learned how to potty on a leash and on cue.  I believe she has been abused because she will crawl up to meet new people, but she is very friendly when meeting people.  She does not need over-correcting and is very obedient.  She will snuggle before bed and then sleep at the foot of the bed.  She is a fast learner when it comes to training.  She appears to be great with cats.  She is curious about mine and seems to want to play with them.  She does have separation anxiety and does not do well in a crate or left alone in a room. She will chew, bark and cry.  My vet thinks this can be fixed.  I think I see a spay scar, but she has not had shots or a heartworm test while I have had her.  I did do a parasite test, which was negative.  She has a great personality to be a service dog.
