Poor Betty looks like she has given up. Already 5 days past extension, this long spayed female will not definitely be here tomorrow as we are told cats, kittens and families are coming into Downey in truck loads.
We could still save her!
Please share far and beyond and contact Loran at: loranslama@yahoo.com if you can help.
Thank you~

Betty is still showing in the database. A volunteer took a new photo yesterday 8/10. She doesn't have any more pledges or prospects that I know of.
8/9 I haven't heard of any prospects for beautiful Betty, but the shelter has not killed her yet. Please adopt or rescue her if you can. She is spayed already and can go right home with you.
Betty was given until today 8/7 to get rescued or adopted and it didn't happen. The shelter is open until 7PM. After that it is curtains for poor beautiful Betty.

The shelter gave Betty an extension to end of day, 8-7, so there is still a short window to save her. Please hurry. She is already spayed so ready to go home. I adopted my cat when she was 9 and she is still going strong 9 years later.

A4739846 Betty is labeled by the shelter as seven years old. She was impounded 7/31/14 and available the same day, therefore an owner-surrender. She gets four business days before they can kill her but she is available to be adopted anytime. Volunteer Allyson Sims took this photo of Betty 7/31/14.
If she is a Nebelung, they are said to have the longest average life expectancy of all cat breeds, and they are high jumpers.

Her record in the shelter database will display as long as she is alive and available:
