Tanner deserves the best of the best after starvation, dehydration, living exposed to the elements, with no care or concern from humans.  Despite all that, he is said to be the "happiest dog at Barc" and "one of the really special ones."  I may be incorrect, but I've been told he only has until Sunday.  He's just now available for foster or rescue.  Please consider this special boy.  This guy will make you believe in magic, for sure…you know, take the scraggly dog, add TLC and groceries and voila, before your eyes he turns into a hunk!  There is already a $200 donation for him!  And I'm sure others would donate as well to this special dog.

More details are below.  Contact BARC.AID@HOUSTONTX.GOV ASAP TO TAG TANNER, A1254730.

Gang, I plan to take Tanner outside on Saturday, but please start networking him immediately.   I have been visiting with him for weeks while he sat in a north kennel as part of a cruelty case.   I didn't take him out before because of the cruelty case, but now that he's BARC's "property," we can really handle him.
He has noticeable skin issues, but nothing not correctable.
Here's the deal: THIS IS THE FRIENDLIEST DOG IN BARC!!!!
I make this promise:   he will not die in BARC. No shot, not as long as I'm breathing.
I promised him that weeks ago.
He needs a guardian angel.   He will save the life of whoever takes him.   He is one of those really special ones.
Let's get a hold on him right away.   He's just been languishing for a month in his small north kennel.   And yet he still is the happiest dog, especially when a human stops by to pay attention to him.

$200 donation to start.
FRIENDS OF BARC WILL DONATE HW TREATMENT AT BARC OR EQUIVALENT RATE AT VET OF CHOICE –OR- A 1-YR OF HW PREVENTION IF PREFERRED!

Very sweet dog was confiscated for a cruelty case. He had no access to water or food, living outside with no shelter.  Tanner has been awarded to BARC and is available for foster or rescue.
