FIRST LITTLE GIRL IS SCARED AND DOING SOME "DEFENSIVE" GROWLING – HW NEG.
SADLY, A 5-MONTH OLD PUP ALREADY WITH SERIOUS MEDICAL ISSUES, POSSIBLY HIP DYSPLASIA
CHECK OUT THE BIG OLE BOXER MIX – MS. CHUBBS IS SAID TO BE SUPER FRIENDLY!
NOT JUST "FRIENDLY" OR "VERY FRIENDLY", BUT S-U-P-E-R FRIENDLY!!!
JUST SOME THINNING HAIR, LIKELY FLEA ALLERGIES/DERMATITIS – SHE IS HW NEGATIVE!!!  SO CUTE!!!
THEN 4 ADORABLE YOUNG PUPS – POSSIBLE RINGWORM
AND LASTLY, THE CUTEST 4-MONTH OLD BLONDE RETRIEVER/LAB PUPPY – MINOR HAIR LOSS AND THINNING HAIR

Growling, alopecia/scaling/sores on dorsal tail head area.


Walks with rear limbs adducted, crepitus noted with manipulation of right hip, resists palpation of hips and knees. Possible hip dysplasia/right femoral head.


Super friendly dog.  She has thinning hair and hairloss on legs, body and head. Possible dermatitis possible demodex/sarcops and/or allergies.


Litter of 3:Hair loss, possible ringworm





Puppy is very cute and sweet.  She has circular areas of hairloss on head, body and tail – possible ringworm


Dog is very sweet and friendly.  She has some minor hairloss and thinning hair on head and face,  dermatitis possible demodex and/or ringworm.
ALL hold requests are to be sent via email only (none will be accepted via phone) with the following required information:

  • The hold will be placed for 24 hours and a confirmation email will be sent back to the requestor via email.
  • All incoming BARC Aid emails will be answered during the following hours and within the specified timeframe:
Monday  - Friday
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Within one hour
Saturday - Sunday
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Within two hours
Emails received outside of these timeframes will be answered the next day, during these hours.  If a response has not been received within the specified timeframes, please notify Mauricio Zepeda immediately via email mauricio.zepeda@houstontx.gov or cell phone 832.623.3871 (days off Saturday and Sunday).
