INDOOR CAT Put OUTSIDE AND HAS ALREADY GOTTEN HURT:
PRINCESS is about 8 years old. She was  adopted from Smithtown Animal Shelter as a kitten. "She always wants to be around people but doesn't necessarily always want to be pet she basically has to be in a sleepy, relaxed mood or else she tries to bite your hand."
The current family believes that it's because they brought two puppies into the house years after they got her and she's become territorial over her space now and basically gets no attention.  (Sounds like some good reasons to me!!!)

This is the NOTE that came from the college age daughter of the family….she definitely cares more about the cat then they! Despite her halfhearted  descriptions below…
From the daughter:
"PRINCESS has to be on a grain free diet or else she gets very sick and for some reason she has NO IDEA how to use the bathroom outside. It's the litter box or shit on the deck outside and unfortunately my dogs try to eat the litter box so we can't have one inside and with winter approaching we don't know what to do ): I just can't stand the idea of giving her to a shelter just for them to put her down . All she wants is a little love and attention. We'd prefer her to be an indoor cat because that's what she was her entire life before we had to start letting her out because of the litter box scenario! And she's gotten injured twice so far being outside which required an infection to be drained and then her to get stitches, so she's not the brightest loll. But she's beautiful and with the right family who isn't trying to give a cat the world of attention every second of every day she'll be very happy. Please Help if You Can."

So…this is poor Princess' Sad Story…Please consider giving this red girlie a HOME!!
