Dear Friends of Petraits,                November 13, 2014

Mouse ...
I visited Chicago Animal Care and Control yesterday and there were so many wonderful cats and kittens that need rescues and fosters.

One little kitten that I've named "Mouse" was brought in stray from the south side of Chicago stuck in a glue trap. The medical staff bathed and shaved the kitten who is too young to be adopted at the shelter. Mouse is a medium long hair black and white tuxedo cat who has received his/her first distemper shot and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Mouse can go to rescue this Sunday when the five-day stray hold is up.

Mouse is being held in the Medical pavilion of CACC at 2741 South Western Avenue in Chicago. The shelter is open from noon to 7:00 pm every day, and shuts down briefly from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. In order to rescue Mouse, you have to be a Homeward Bound-approved rescuer, or you can offer to foster for one of these groups. Please e-mail CACC.cats@gmail.com and offer your assistance.
