WARREN COUNTY NC DOGS NEED RESCUE NOW!!
- TIME IS UP!!
THE FOLLOWING DOGS ARE IN NEED OF RESCUE NOW, THEIR TIME IS UP AND THERE IS NO MORE SPACE IN THE SHELTER.  SO FAR THERE HAVE BEEN NO OFFERS TO TAKE THEM.

We have been trying for over a week now to get these dogs out of our shelter, the Warren County Animal Ark in Warrenton, NC, with no luck.  We are a very small, rural shelter with limited resources and very isolated.  .   These 4  came into the shelter about a week or so ago and there has been no interest in them.  Transportation is usually an issue for us.  Please let me know if you would be interested in any of the following dogs/puppies, we are full and I need to move them as quickly as possible.  Their need has gone from desperate to critical!!

I have attached our rescue protocol that all new rescues need to fill out and send us all the information listed on there.

Thank you,

Dani Bowen
Warren County Animal Ark
Warrenton, NC 27589

We need help to get these dogs seen by more rescue groups before time runs out,  can be put down anytime due to lack of space.

The following dogs are located at the Warren County Animal Ark in Warrenton,NC.  We are a very small shelter that is very isolated and has very little adoption traffic.  All of the dogs are given their shots, dewormed, rabies if old enough and heartworm tested (all negative, except one).  All of the dogs are social, walk on leashes and have shown no aggression or have histories of aggression.  Transportation is an issue, but all will be done to help with this process.  We do not have fosters for holding dog and there is only one vet in our county.  We do have a mobile vet that will do heath certificates, but the rescue will have to contact him to pay him directly, the county will not allow us to pay and be reimbursed.  We do have a protocol that must be filled out prior to pulling and all rescue must be 501c3.

These dogs have been with us for a while and need to get out as soon as possible.

The Warren County Animal Ark in located in Warrenton, NC, about an hour east of Raleigh on the NC/VA border.

Cameron, Nick and Laura are owner surrenders.  Their owner has to have spinal surgery and can't care for them anymore.  They are all heartworm negative, up to date on shots, de-wormed and housebroken.  Nick is neutered, but the other two are intact

They all are social, friendly and get along well with other dogs.

Cameron is a 2 year old, 10 months old, 57 lb. Lab mix.

Nick is around 1 ½ years old, and is 80 lbs.  Hound/Shepherd mix.

Laura is around 5 months old, Lab mix, very sweet girl, 25 lbs.

Alice is an unaltered female, around 2 years old, 53 lbs.  Mastiff mix, maybe with Lab.  Very friendly!
