> "My husband and I have been separated for several years.  When I left, I wasn't able to take all of my kitties with me.  The 2 that are still with my husband are at least 13 years old.  Thirteen years ago, they were put out in front of our house and simply walked up to our front door.  I fell in love with them right then.  They were adults at that time.  So, I'm not absolutely sure how old they are - but at least 13 years old.  Bennie is the big black and white baby, and Cute is the calico.

> There have been some changes in circumstances, and my husband is no longer willing to keep them.  I am living in a town home development where I can only have 2 pets.  I've fostered dogs and have gotten into trouble with my HOA - even if the foster is only for a week or so.  I'm afraid that if I bring Bennie and Cutie home with me, the HOA will demand that I GET RID of them.  So, I'm trying to do something before things come to a head and while I have time to hopefully find them a good home.
>
> They are very bonded and would need to stay together.    Both are fixed.  Bennie is pretty big - about 15-18 pounds.  Cutie is just a tiny thing - no more than 8-10 pounds.  Both have the tufts of fur between their toes and pads.
>
> My husband doesn't want them around anymore, and will take them to the pound if I don't do something soon.  These are the sweetest cats you'd ever meet.  Bennie is really humble and doesn't ask much more than something to eat, a patch of sunshine and some petting.  Cutie is still a feisty little thing and likes some petting - but prefers to sit with/next you.  John has kept both outside with their bed in the garage.  He has been good as far as feeding them and making sure they have a good bed.  And, he does pet them some.
>
> With things changing, I don't want to wait till I have little to no time to find a good home for them.  If you could please share them with folks you know who would give them a good home, I'd be so grateful.  I wish I could have them with me, but I know I can't have them where I live.
>
> Thanks so much for sharing Bennie and Cutie.  If you have any questions, just let me know.  Thanks, again.
