I called and spoke to someone in the mayor's office and left a "This is outrageous" message with her. I signed the petition (you will see the info for that in earlier email I sent). I urge and beg you to:

- do the same, and/or write emails to the mayor and that board chair guy at the housing place
and post review on the FB page

- email this to ANY- and EVERYONE you know (dog AND cat people)!!!!!!!!

For those of you that missed this, I'm sharing (from FB) for your information and action.  This is barbaric:
IMPORTANT FOR BRISTOL RESIDENTS. Bristol town authorities have recently decided to impose a feeding ban and deny winter shelters for feral cats. Please speak up on behalf of these ferals and let Bristol know this is unacceptable. See attached information from TOMcat rescue for names and phone numbers.
Please share!

Thanks to all for helping! Everyone, and especially Bristol residents, can also do any of the following:1. Tweet your protest using the hashtag #BristolCTcats and make sure the mayor gets it by including @mayorkenc2. Call Mayor Cockayne at (860) 584-6250 or (860) 256-9504. Tell him this is unacceptable and you want them to immediately end the feeding ban, allow winter shelters, and let rescue groups conduct TNR.3. Email Mayor Cockayne (kencockayne@bristolct.gov) and Board Chair Gary Schaffrick (gschaffrick@bristolhousing.org). Tell them this is unacceptable and you want them to immediately end the feeding ban, allow winter shelters, and let rescue groups conduct TNR.4.
