Meet Simba.  He is a 4 year old, neutered male and is now up to date on his shots.  His dad, a Marine veteran has fallen on tough times and was evicted from his apartment due to falling behind on his rent. His Dad has had Simba since he was 6 weeks old and is heartbroken that he cannot provide a home for him but he does work; he just needs some time to get back on his feet as he wants to keep Simba.  They have been staying with friends and most recently, he has been paying for a pet friendly hotel but his money has ran out.

PAWS is helping him and we are in need of a foster immediately as Simba has nowhere to go; his Dad is willing to sleep in his car but Simba has no place to go during the day when he is at work. Until we find a foster family who is willing to care for him, we will have to board him so we are requesting funds for boarding and more importantly, a foster family.  If anyone can donate just a little, it will go towards his boarding cost.  PAWS has paid for his vet exam and all of his vaccines and will provide for his food and any vet care while with his foster family.

He is Husky/Shep/Belgian Malinois mix...His tail is always wagging, he is a very happy and lovable sweetheart of a dog. He is about 55 pounds. Simba is not good with cats but, he does get along with most dogs. There are some dogs who Simba has not liked but for the most part, gets along with all dogs.  He is very sweet, gentle and playful. He is good with children.

Please contact if you can provide a foster home for Simba.  If you can assist with our financial cost, please click here.

Thank you.
