Hi Christine,
Thank you so much for offering to help. I know that this situation is awful and that 2 days is no time at all but I only just found out this morning. This is not a woman I am close to, just a neighbor whom I occasionally help out with household tasks (carrying in her groceries, etc). We may have until Tuesday but I'm not 100% sure. The owner is facing eviction and is trying to figure out her living situation. She wouldn't tell me much when I talked to her this evening but I did my best to convince her of how awful this would be for the cat and to try to find an alternative if at all possible. In the meantime, I am reaching out to everyone I can find who could possibly help considering the direness of the situation.
Angel is a sweet, mild-mannered indoor cat. She is about 13 years old but is healthy and seems much younger than she is. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on her shots. Her single, elderly owner is a dealing some serious health problems and is facing eviction. She is no longer able to care for Angel and is looking for a safe, loving forever home for her. Any help or leads would be very much appreciated!!
I've attached a few photos. She was under the bed and on the move and I only had a few minutes with her so it was hard to get a clear picture. She is white with black markings and an endearing black nose.
While I have limited resources, I would be willing to help sponsor her on her way to a new life and I can drive her anywhere this weekend and on evenings (week days are hard because I work banking hours and I am in the process of transitioning jobs). Like I said, we may have until Tuesday but I am not 100% sure.
I hope that this helps! Please let me know if there is anyone else you know of I can get in touch with.
Many, many heart felt thank yous!!
Ashley
