PLEASE HELP!!! These two were locked in a shop/building (without power) and abandoned for weeks in Midlothian (TX). A concerned neighbor heard their cries and gained entry to the building, what he found were two of the sweetest dogs imaginable. The black dog is a male, about one-year-old; the blonde is a female, about three years old, she is very pregnant. Despite being treated so horribly, these dogs are absolutely Wonderful. They are both people friendly, cat friendly, dog friendly and especially children friendly. They were very loving & gentle with my four-year-old daughter. At this time, they are running free outside of the building on the property. The property owner believes them to be a liability due to the breed of the dog and wants them removed. He has threatened to call animal control several times. In this (Ellis) county, animal control will hold them for only 72 hours and then euthanize them, they will never be shown for possible adoption. The concerned neighbor has been in contact with the former owner and he is not willing/able to do anything more for his pets. He is on drugs and cannot take care of himself. There is no chance of an owner coming forward to help these wonderful dogs. I cannot bring them home due to conditions of my lease. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
