SHELTER HOURS: 7 AM- 3:30 PM, MON-FRI & 9 AM- 12 PM SAT.

Pull and transport help is available.

Both dogs have had 5-way vac.

Two boys in Mt. Sterling KY, at Montgomery County Pound.  They have been in the pound for almost 4 months.  Skin condition is terrible.  The Vet who examined them said it was from lying in urine, and probably would not grow back, but is NOT mange.  They get along with other dogs.

This is a pound that does things right!  Adopted pets get altered before being released.

If you can help them, even in a week or two, we will work on a holding person for them.  The pound only has 3 kennels open, and euth'ing is going to happen at any moment unless some dogs move.

Both, having lived in a horrible outside pen, with wet straw, and no protection.  You can see how the neglect has worked against his skin and coat condition.  Friendly, dignified, and ready to start again.
Jenkins is about 40-45 pounds, 8+ years old.  A sweet little guy, with a deep voice, to go with that deep chest.  Brought to the Shelter, from a horrible "pen" of wet cold straw.  He was with #41, Pence, said to be his son.  He's a fun loving, little fellow, about 20 pounds.
