Senior Spotlight:
Urgent Help Is Needed For Two Seniors

Handsome Marvin
Marvin came in to the shelter as a stray and is in danger of euthanasia any day. This is an URGENT situation and we need to help Marvin NOW.

This distinguished older fellow is a 9 year old Lab mix weighs 49 lbs and wearing an adorable greying muzzle. Marvin is friendly with dogs & cats and really would rather be snoozing in a home of his own rather than living in a kennel. He is not overly lovey dovey, although he will push your hand with his head to be pet. He clearly hasn't had a great life, and just wants to feel loved and safe.

Marvin would be a great addition to a home who already has an older dog, and a calm environment where he could finally feel at home. He is tentative around strangers, so a home with children over 12 would be best. Marvin has Hip Dysplasia for which he takes Rimadyl and a joint supplement. A cage is definitely not doing him any good. Once he can get more exercise out of confinement, he will feel so much better. Sweet Susie
13 year old "golden girl" Susie lived with her family for approximately 10 years. Sadly, her owner recently passed away and the family is moving to Florida - without her. They cannot take Susie, and will be bringing her to a shelter if we cannot find an adopter very soon. Her whole world has turned upside down, and now she is being dumped at a shelter.

Susie had been living with the family's 4 year old Yorkie, is great with children, and is still quite active and enjoys playing in the yard. We can't let this sweet girl end up in the shelter - she deserves so much more.

If you can be Susie's angel, please contact us immediately at inforoadtohome@gmail.com.  Location: Wantagh, NY.

Transport can be arranged to approved adopters in the Northeast so that these deserving Seniors can find loving "retirement homes". For more information, email us at today.

Dolly

is all dressed up with no place to go...

Say hello to Dolly!
This affectionate 1 year old bulldog/pibble mix is such a happy girl, it's hard to believe that she spent most of her puppyhood with her back feet tied to a truck!

When we first met Dolly, she had scars all over her body and a broken tail (which somehow makes her even cuter). At only 40 lbs, she is known as a "pocket pittie". Despite her history of abuse, Dolly has a smile and a wag for everyone she meets. Thankfully dogs live in the moment and she is safe with us, on her Road To Home. Maybe it's your home!

Dolly's perfect home contains children over 12, as her puppy energy is best suited for older kids. She has just graduated from training school and needs a family who will continue working with her to reinforce everything she has learned. A meet & greet will be required with family dogs, but no cats for Miss Dolly please...

Are you ready to meet this tiny sweetheart and give her the life she deserves? Dolly is located on Long Island, NY and would love to be your new best friend. For more information, contact us today at inforoadtohome@gmail.com.  Transport is available for approved Northeast adopters!

Meet Sebastian, Franklin, Roxy and Jade!
These little cuties were crying in the street without their mommy until Road To Home Rescue saved them from under a dumpster and took care of all of their medical needs.

Approximately 8 months old now, they are healthy and happy in a loving foster home. Like so many others, they did not have the best start to life - but we have promised to find the loving homes that they deserve. Ready to add some fun to your family? These little guys are guaranteed to provide years of entertainment!

If you are able to open your heart up to these beautiful babies, let's talk today. Better yet, adopt two and double your fun with these frisky felines!

Located on Long Island, NY. Contact us at inforoadtohome@gmail.com.
