Dogs at the Wilson County Animal Shelter IN NEED OF RESCUE!

Good Morning,

I am reaching out for help on six dogs we have in our shelter at this time that are looking for a
rescue to help them find their forever home.

Two of the six were abandoned by the owner, who contacted the shelter, then never came for them.

Two were surrendered together, and are the siblings to Pinball, a dog that had just been rescued yesterday. We also have had their mother pass through here to look for her furever home.

One more was surrendered as well, but has had many litters of pups, and potentially is expecting another.

Our last one has been with us since the 17th of April, and no one has stepped forward to claim this clam lady.

I have listed the animals below in the Order of the pictures attached.

If you can please help any please contact Kristin Brinson at: kbrinson@wilson-co.com       (at    wilson-co.com), Kim Edmondson at: EdmondK@RJRT.com       (at     RJRT.com), or myself at: awhitney@wilson-co.com       (at     wilson-co.com).

Also remember that help with transport, and temporary foster is available.

Meet Big, a sweet pup that was brought in for safe keeping, and his family has not come back.  Big is 5 months old, and has a brother Rich that came in as well.  Big is very gentle, shy, loves everyone, other dogs and can be cat tested.  Big is now looking for his forever home.  Big is a Boxer mix, that weighs around 30 lbs, was abandoned at the shelter, and is black and white in color.

Meet Rich, a sweet pup that was brought in for safe keeping, and his family has not come back.  Rich is 5 months old, and has a brother Big that came in as well.  Rich is very gentle, out going, loves everyone, other dogs, and can be cat tested.  Rich is now looking for his forever home.  Rich is a Shepherd/Boxer mix that is brown, black and white in color.  He is around 30 pounds.

Meet Diamond, a sweet 7 month old pup that came to our facility as an owner surrender, along with her brother King, and is the sister of pinball.  Diamond is very sweet, loves people, does well with other dogs, and can be cat tested.  Diamond is a little shy at first, but loves to give kisses.  She weighs 30-35 lbs., and is a Basset mix that is brindle and white in color.  We have has her mother in here a few months ago.

Meet King, a sweet 7 month old pup, that is a brother to pinball and a sister Diamond.  King was surrendered to our facility today, and is now looking for his forever home.  He smiles and grunts at the same time.  King is people friendly, dog friendly, and can be cat tested.  He weighs around 30-35 lbs., that is a brindle and white Basset mix.  We have had his mother pass through here a few months ago.

Meet Ladybug, a sweet 5 year old found roaming Sullivan Rd. out in the County.  Ladybug is very sweet, laid back, and is currently looking for her family.  If you know them please point them our way.  Ladybug has not had any luck in finding her family, and is now very sad.  She is very sweet loves all, dog friendly, and just wishes she could cuddle with anyone that would help this aging gale feel loved.  Ladybug is an English Bulldog, and American Bulldog mix.  She weighs around 40-50lbs., and is a brown in color.

Meet Symphony, a sweet 2 year old that was surrendered to us, and has had many litters of puppies.  It is possible that she is now pregnant once again.  Symphony is now looking for her furever home, great with other dogs, and she is very people friendly.  She weighs in around 40-45 lbs., and is a yellow Lab and Hound mix.

Again, if anyone can help please contact the people listed above, or myself.  HELP WITH TRANSPORT AND TEMPORARY FOSTER IS AVAILABLE.

Sincerely,

Alyssa Whitney
