Thank you all for cross-posting this sweet dog!!   Thanks to you, a wonderful Boxer rescue in Tupelo, MS will be taking him.

I have agreed to post and try to raise the $250 needed to heart worm treat  him (he tested hot positive), as well as the charges on Monday at Dr. Leflore's Veterinary Clinic for his h/w test, vaccinations and neuter (Phone:  662.335.5498).   I don't know the exact charges outstanding from Monday, but I believe they are at least $300.00.

Should anyone like to help with his medical, please contact Dr. Leflore at 2413 Hwy. 82 East, Greenville, MS  38701, Phone:  662.335.5498).

Thank you so much!!!

The way I interpret this, Rocky may be at the veterinary clinic with no satisfactory place to go following medical --- or perhaps he has been released to the Good Samaritan's home where he is at risk of being stolen. Please contact Linda Meredith for more info. She is a rescuer but obviously has no room.

Subject: Greenville, MS -- pb emaciated BOXER needs rescue!

Help!   This sweet male Boxer was abandoned out in the county in Greenville, Mississippi.   The lady who found him wandering called me and asked for help in finding him a safe home/rescue.   I asked her to carry him to the vet immediately for vaccinations, altering, and h/w testing!  She did and he is h/w positive!

This sweet boy needs a rescue asap.   The lady who found him has to travel out of state quite frequently for her job, and if he is left outside at her house there is a large possibility he would be stolen and used for fighting.

I've spent the last two dogs emailing Boxer rescues....I've had no response.   Please help this sweet boy find a home!

He has now been named Rocky!   If anyone would like to assist with today's medical (neutering, vaccinations, h/w testing), please make a donation directly to Dr. Royann Leflore, Simmons Veterinary Clinic, 2413 Hwy. 82 East, Greenville, MS  38703 PHONE:  662.335.5498.
