HOARDER SITUATION in SW Miami, FL!! - CAN YOU HELP US????

Hi there!
I am sending this email to my fellow rescuers to ask you for help with this situation we encounter.

Here's what's going on.
Today we received a desperate call from a man, whose father has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, and he's in a dangerous and difficult situation.  His wife has approximately 120 dogs in a property in Sweetwater, FL (SW Miami area).   This man's father has been removed from this house, and he's temporarily in an efficiency, until most of the dogs are removed from the property.  ALL this has to happen in about a week or so since his dad will start chemo in about 10 days.

HERE'S THE SITUATION WITH THE DOGS:  Most of the them have to be out of this house, so he can safely return to his house after his first chemo session.  Now the problem is that this old man's wife does not want to give them up and she's in denial, but the old man's son and daughter will help us get her out of the house to get the dogs out before all this turns into a nightmare, and most of them end up euthanized.  They care about the dogs and they don't want to see the dogs be put to sleep.

Many of them are 1, 2, 3, 5 years old.  We do not have pictures of the dogs, and we won't be able to get them, but we do not know they are 10 and even 15, 16 years old, and they are ALL Dachshund and Chihuahua mixes.  These dogs never received a vaccine, or de-wormed or received vet care so we don't what's coming ahead of us.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP: We will have a 2-hr window next week to get in the house and save as many dogs as we can.

If you can help us by taking just 1 dog, or if you know of any other rescue or private person that will be able to help us rescue and save a dog, please call us at: 305-235-2554 or: 305-766-0127 only, or email us at: k9forlove@aol.com. Remember many of these dogs might need vet care.  We will be organizing this massive rescue but we cannot take all of them of course!

If you CAN foster or will be able to RESCUE 1 or more dogs, please email or call us. We are tentatively scheduling this rescue for either next Friday, June 5th or Saturday, June 6th.

AGAIN, please contact us ONLY if you can help us in any way.  Also, if any member of another rescue can help us, please don't hesitate to reach us!

THANKS FOR ANY HELP OR SUPPORT YOU CAN PROVIDE!
