Hi Liz,
So far I've haven't had any luck finding homes or foster.  I'm living at my parents house at the moment and I'm not sure how much longer she's going to let me keep them at the house. She said by the end of the week they are going to CAP.  But she said the same thing last week too.  So it may change.

They started Heartguard and had their first shots yesterday. I would love any help I can get. So yes if you can blog about them that would be great. Everybody has been so nice and helpful. Animal people are the best.

Thanks so much!
Lisa Smith

Thank you for helping! I've emailed tons of people and started call people from a list someone gave me. They got heartworm pills today and will get shots tomorrow.

Subject: two stray puppies
Monday night on the way home we witnessed someone dumping two puppies on the side of the road.  We saw the truck pull out and then one of the puppies run after the truck it was so sad.  It was almost dark so we sadly couldn't get a license plate number. We picked them up but cannot keep them - we already have four dogs one of which doesn't like any new animals I have tried to bring in.
Right now they are being kept outside during the day in the shade and at night brought into the garage to keep them away from all the mosquitoes.  I really hate having them live outside its not something I believe in.  Its not entirely closed in so they are having to stay in a area that I put up fencing.  They are two girls maybe 2-3 months old and I would say some kind of shepherd mix, but who knows. I would love for them to be able to find a inside forever home.  I've been looking for a no kill shelter but so far everyone is full.   If you can take them please write back or call/text Lisa 713-416-5194, Anthony 832-217-6682 or Mauri 713-416-5179 . I'm just trying to find someplace other than a kill place. We live in Highlands Texas.
Thanks so much Lisa Smith
