Above is my post about her on my Facebook.  I have attached her photo here and the information

Hey there, my name is Janey!

I am about 3 years old and about 55 pounds.  I am in excellent health, spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm negative, and just had my pro-heart injection for heartworm preventative.  Some people say my unique looks and cleverness remind them of a blue heeler.  It has also been suggested that I may be part piggy, as I love to cool off in the dirt after a good romp.  I don't remember much about my parents, so I couldn't tell you exactly what I'm made out of, but I can tell you that I LOVE to learn!  And although I don't mean to brag, I am pretty darn smart and enjoy a good challenge, so trick training is right up my alley.  I also don't mean to be vain, but I do enjoy a good workout and would love a jogging or hiking partner to maintain my muscular physique with.  Playtime is one of my greatest motivators, and I will do just about anything if there is a game of tug-o-war waiting for me on the other side!

Some of my other hobbies include: playing with the water hose, and chasing the stream of water, fetch, eating, chewing on bones, and getting a good massage (hint, hint).
For the last month I have been living at a small, home-based dog training and boarding facility and have met dogs of all ages and sizes and loved them all.  But it took me some time to learn to trust other people and animals again, you see, because for the year prior I had been living in a kennel at the vet's office.  The veterinarian was kind enough to spare my life when I was found on the streets.  It was lonely there, however, and although the staff tried to spend as much time with me as possible, I rarely got to run or play outside off leash, and I never got to interact with any other dogs.  The dogs and people I had lived with prior to ending up at the vet's office had been unkind to me, and I didn't know that most other doggies and humans aren't like that.
These days my future is looking bright, and I am optimistic about finding my niche in this world, as well as a home and family to call my own.  I swear to be a faithful, loving companion to whomever can promise me the same for the rest of my days.  All I ask is that you provide me with kindness, structure, consistency, and plenty of mental and physical exercise.  I am not what they call a "beginner's" doggy, nor am I a couch potato.  So if you are up for a totally gorgeous, lovable, adventurous, hard working new BFF, please consider adding me to your "pack"!  Did I mention I am house-trained?
