This is a special little girl that needs rescue placement ASAP.
She was brought in as a stray today.  We have named her Pita. She is a 3 month old lab mix puppy.  She has papillomas in her mouth.  We believe this is consistent  with Canine Papilloma virus which is contagious to other dogs. We have her in an isolation area right now while we have to hold her for stray hold. She has got to have somewhere to go by Wednesday.....she must physically leave the shelter no later than then. We cannot hang onto her any longer because we do not have enough room to continue to isolate her.
Canine papilloma virus is self-limiting and usually resolves itself but she will have to be isolated from contact with other dogs for at least a month.  We hated not to give this sweet baby a chance. ...so here it is. ....Let's see if someone can help save this girl's life.
